Jr Vipers is the official youth feeder program of Verrado High School football, run by the Elite Student Athlete Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We develop players on the field and in the classroom.

Our mission

More than football

Jr Vipers is a program of the Elite Student Athlete Foundation (ESA), a nonprofit that builds student athletes through mentoring, academic support and community outreach. Football is how we bring kids in. Character, grades and community are what we send them out with.

We exist to provide quality developmental coaching and to use football as a tool for life development, teaching the life skills our athletes carry well beyond the field. Along the way we're building a stronger Verrado community and serving as an extension of Verrado High School football.

Player development

Fundamentals, safe technique and age-appropriate coaching at every level.

Student first

ESA mentoring now, with tutoring on the way, so players grow in the classroom too.

Community

One Verrado football family: parents, coaches, sponsors and high school players.

Run as a nonprofit

Fees and sponsorships go back into players, equipment and programs.

The Verrado pathway

From Jr Viper to Verrado Viper

As Verrado High School's feeder program, Jr Vipers works with the high school staff so our players arrive ready for the next level.

    Same system

    Our schemes and terminology line up with Verrado HS football, so players learn one language from 8U up.

    High school mentors

    Verrado HS players mentor our athletes and show them what it takes to be a Viper.

  3. 03

    Friday nights

    Today's Jr Vipers are tomorrow's Verrado Vipers, and the fans in the stands are the families who built the program.

Spring 2027 spots are limited

Registration opens November 21, 2026. Returning players keep their fall age group for spring.
